I was charged with DWI in 1992, I pleaded guilty to article 894 (in Louisiana) which would not affect my driving record if I had not received a DWI in 6 months. I have had no problems since and have since expunged my DWI by my lawyer. I am a healthcare provider and am about to apply for licensure in California ( a state that demands all convictions and misdemeanors be declared) I don't want to declare anything due to the time frame and expungement. I have a friend who had 3 DWI last being in 1990/91 who received his license without occurrence, should I do the same? or should I declare and be penalized the lengthy time delay that would occur?
