Thank you Banned_Princess. Skimming my previous posts, I failed to mention why we're so concerned about these two "boys" living there. I mentioned we helped them move into the home last year. While doing so, the man voiced to my husband how he was relieved to be away from the two step-sons since the oldest smoked pot and was cause for many feuds between him and his wife. So it's not just the fact that they have been deceptive with these boys living there, we're concerned with drugs being there...and God knows there is plenty of property for them to plant their weeds! Sorry I didn't mention that earlier. Just too much going on to think of it all. These people make very good money now...they can handle even $1600 if they wanted to (since he has a better job than what he did when he moved there last year.). But we've come to the decision that we'd rather rent for a lesser amount to someone we're more comfortable with than worry about drug possession/dealing or a meth lab. We've typed a letter and I'll get it off in the mail tomorrow. If they refuse to leave, we'll just have to file an eviction. I don't think it could possibly be more trashed (short of having a match struck to it...lol) than what the ones before them did. I don't think they will. They know they've been in the wrong. Even sent me an email last Fall telling me they wouldn't blame us if we wanted them to leave when the lease is up due to all the problems with paying rent...but we'll see how they act when the chips fall. I'll be back in March to let you know how it went. ;) Thanks so much and take care.
