You can't prove the pass was taken from the salvage yard.

Ultimately you are responsible for the security of your EZ pass. I know who you can sue.

Thanks i realize it was stupid on my part but at this point i just want my money back and i feel the owner of the salvage yard is responsible in some part. Also i probably could prove it because the vehicle is still at the yard and i know it was in my car when it was taken there.
Either way is it possible to make a compelling enough case out of this to drag it into court and hopefully make it not worthwhile for them to waste a whole day over a few hundred $?
