Thanks for all the feedback, both good and negative - and thanks for the alternative ideas. Your right, i do wish to teach my daughter the right thing to do, such as following rules, etc - and following the letter of the law.

It has since been shut down (the fb page).

For anyone that cares to know, we went to mediation and court - and I will have 50/50 or close to it - roughly 49/51 once I move to the area that My daughter and her dad live in.

Excellent Pearl! Kiddo will have LOTS of time to hang out with/keep in touch with your family very soon then!

Wait a minute! Thanksgiving Eve, it was a big problem that your family couldn't really be in contact with the child due to Dad. Which is why (presumably) she was on FB.

Today - Black Friday - suddenly you're getting nearly 50% custody so it's no longer an issue. Wanna know what kind of flag I'm waiving?

Dunno about a flag but this seems fitting: http://tinyurl.com/29zpjxq

the only thing that pearl said changed was the FB page got shut down. I would guess the custody order was already existing and she merely felt like letting those that showed concern why things would be getting better for her and kiddo.

That's how I'm reading it, yeap.

However, I've been wrong before.

(Oh strike me down with a blue ray of sparklies - I admitted that I've been wrong!!!!)

For clarification, I don't get the nearly 49/51 UNTIL i move to where my daughter lives - and that may take awhile being as I am in school currently and unable to move until this summer - and relocate and start school near where my daughter and her Father reside.

That is why i had set up a FB Page - not a lot of my family lives near me, or my daughter where she lives, and my daughter wanted to keep in contact with her friends from where I live since she doesn't get to see them that much since it is now every other weekend that i get to see my daughter, split holidays, half of summer - and when i move closer i get 3 overnights a week, plus split holidays, half of summer. But again, the FB Page i had set up is now non functioning.
