If your "friends" lawyer is so bad, he can always get a new one.
Strangers on the internet who only gets to hear parts of the whole story and by a third party no less(!)is NEVER going to help your "friend" out of this mess he created for himself. His check has been put in front of him and now it's time for him to pay for all that "entertainment". Sometimes life sucks, but if you set yourself up for it, like all criminals do, they deserve what they get.
Life is no bed of roses for everyone to float through.

Actually, you're right, I meant that one of the posts were legally informative, I saw those links and though they were information and in reality they were someone else being an ass, but with your blatant rudeness, even to the one who did offer some advice, is going to garner you very little. Even the one that did offer pertinent advice you cussed out.
You catch more flies with honey...
Good luck to you and your friend.

Its one friend not friends that I am trying to help. And although I agree he is responsible for his actions and he created this mess I am just trying to make sure he gets a fair trial and hearing. I know its hard to give advice when not all the circumstances are know but I was not asking for an evaluation of his case just a question about using a juvenile conviction in his sentencing because then the three stikes law will apply and I understand and accept.

The reason I would get so upset and get nasty on my posting is the self righteous people who get nasty first and reply with what they thought of my friend. Bimini Breeze did give me some legal information and like I said I appreciated the information about the three strikes law, I was upset about the "Drugs is an excuse not a reason" I never said it was an excuse and thats not even the part that i was really upset about it was the unfeeling part about "So, get ready to never see that boy again" the professional way to say that would have been He most likely will get a life sentence and if he would have said it like that it would have been fine and I would have thanked him but he said in such a way and then with his quote at the bottom saying "I wont give you a hand but I will give you a finger" tells what kind of person he is and then also after reading some other posts and how other people have responded to other peoples questions/problems really made me mad I felt they deserved to get cursed out. They feel like they have the right to put people down for trying to help someone they care about.

I don't like to curse or argue with people but I don't take anybody talking down to me and will stand up for myself.

BluesMan thanks for the last posting and for being the only person to try to see where I am coming from even if you dont agree I respect that.
