"Illegal alien" is severely hurt on the job. Insurance now refusing to pay for medical care and lost salary.
Industrial commission is stressing complications of fraud (false name & soc. sec.#) Actual owner of name is upset.

What are possible consequences? I've seen other immigration cases take false ID lightly if no other crime attached.

Well, the illigal alien will probably be charged and the deported. The company will also be charged if they have no performed sufficent checks on the aliens work status.

Chances of winning anything are silm to none.

Your message surprises me because I have seen illegals walk away with insurance claim money. They were here illegally. They held fake license. But nonetheless since not at fault for the car accident, gained the claim.

The deportation is no problem, the lost arm is..especially due to faulty machinery. Is there anyway I can look up cases that were similar to see what strategies were used??

If they are using fake licence then maybe the insurance company did not know they were illegal.

Anyway, this is irrevelant. In the US, if you have been injuried, you go see an attorney and do not deal direct with the insurance company.
