What is the name of your state? Washington
A person I know was recently incarcerated for a crime that he has already been convicted of. He is still in jail now! He went to jail on april 1st 2005, He went to his omnibus hearing today and they finally dismissed the charges. Finding out finally that he has already plead on this charge and did his time. Im not sure when he will be released, they said maybe tonight or in 10 days.
But his court appointed lawyer mentioned to him that he has a case against the state or whoever, for keeping him in custody since the 1st of the month. He said something about at least $18,000 for each day. What do you think?
I thank-you for your time.

I think someone is confused... and he might be eligible for $18.00 per day. Then, of course, he will have to pay the county $40 per day for them providing room and board for him.
