my state of legal residence is florida. in which states may i legally marry my first cousin? i am 44 years old and he is 46 years old. he has had a vasectomy. we both have grown children and will not create children together. also, if we marry in one of those states, will our marriage be legally recognized in all 50 states?

My response:

Florida allows First Cousin marriages. So, you can legally marry right where you are.

All 50 States recognize marriages that are legal in the State of origin. So, despite the fact that the two of you couldn't get married in Louisianna, Louisianna will still recognize your marriage if you get married in Florida.

Good luck to you.
