fathers rights to my baby

ms tinamarie... im in the same situation as your baby' dad... and what i've learned from this forum is that you'll always retain primary custody, but the father, when paternity is established, will have rights... visitation rights, that will gradually turn into partial or joint custody.... which is fair. i understand your position of how, he wasnt there for you and your baby, now all of a sudden he wants his baby... but unless you go on a crack binge in vegas, you'll retain primary custody. j ust be a good mom, and unless your babys fathers a jerk, let him in your childs life. its best for you baby.

Thanks for all of your advice. You guys all helped me to see a different side of this situation.
I feel a lot better now, and I will do the best that I can to make this all work out for my son.
