What is the name of your state?Arizona
In 2002, a national company which I was doing business with filed a Petition for Bankruptcy. A year or two later I received a notice that they were suing me, and many others, for all monies paid 90 days PRIOR to their filing. Of course, they won the suit and are now trying to collect. How can they break a contract which I fullfilled, having spent my money for parts and labor, and which they paid me? What can I do now? I couldn't afford a lawyer to fight them as the case was in Delaware and I live in Arizona.
