Dude, lets walk through this, did you do jail time, almost all Felonies require jail time or suspension there of??? Did you plead guilty to any kind of charge??? Did any court find you guilty of anykind of charge???

If you can answer no to those questions it would appear you did not get convicted of at least a felony which would effect your right to vote and own a gun..... I am sure you are doing alot of hunting up in main, what is it bear season.

DUDE!!! Get your own facts straight. 'Jail time' is generally used for misdemeanors, while 'felony time' is generally state prison.

And of course, that is not true. The incarceration, if any, is purely subject to the court.... and can be a finding of guilt without ANY incarceration or 'suspension'.

The ONLY issues are whether the OP was found or pled guilty to ANY criminal charge and exactly WHAT was charged.

My wife and I had a fight she got mad at me for shooting a skunk out in our backyard, and was yelling at me, neighbors heard gun shot and her yelling so they call police. Police "assumed" domestic assault and did not believe me or her when we said the gun shot was not part of our argurment or directed to her.....
So i plead guilty so she could come home, I did go to jail , but was bailed out so quickly i only spent 20mins there. At court date, my wife stood up and told them i didn't nothing to harm her, and asked if need be to punish me for anything fine me for shooting with 500 of a residence, which was my own. neighbors live a good distance away. they wouldn't , i had to go to angry mananagement groups for 52 weeks, probabtion for a year also.

I've voted this election and the one is 2000, and continue to hunt, but am i suppose too?

Maine allows convicted felons to vote. I don't believe you have the right - with a DV conviction - to own a gun, unless you petition a court to lift that restriction.

And your story still doesn't fly.
