What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana
I am filing a provisional application. I have a working prototype, a video on how to use it, and 17 drawings that meticulously demonstrate every part of my invention and 16 pages of text explaining each drawing. While drafting my text, I accidentally discovered a completely different way to use my invention.
An example would be an enclosed floating dock for boats, but it could be a landing strip for seaplanes too.
Even though it does this new operation with basically the same embodiment(one small change) to complete it's task, should I file this with the same provisional, or should I draft another one?
Thanks to whomever responds.
