This question is for ladyinred who replied to me first message about keeping my car. I don't plan on filing my car loan for bankruptcy i am going to keep it and keep paying it for i am current and have been very smart with it. can this stell affect my father?

I'm sorry, you can't exclude any debts, you MUST include them all. Now, you can REAFFIRM the car loan and that will exclude from DISCHARGE, but it does not exclude it from your bankruptcy.

If you are not late, and paying on time, like I was in Chapter 7, the bank won't take it If that is your worry.
