What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California. I am the mother of the child and I filed a case for Paternity and Child Support through DCSS against the father. DCSS was unable to locate and serve the father of the child. Now I am going to file my own case with the court against the father. At the court I was given the packet of FL-200, and FL-210 forms ( basically asking to establish paternity and child custody). I was also suggested that I can file Request for order FL-300 packet ( asking for custody and child support). I am not sure if it is necessary to file FL-300 at this time now because FL-200, and Fl-210 ask for custody too. I plan on serving the father with these forms and DCSS forms as well. Question: Do I need to include FL-300 now or is it better to file later? Thank you.
