What is the name of your state? MN
Im going for a job interveiw and found out that the job will check my credit history... SO I decided that I should know what little hidden suprises may be there (or may not) before they do.
I have two collections against me, in the credit report. I have successfully.. or i think... found one of the creditors from a BBB listing. However, I cannot seem to find the other(since it has such a generic name--collection managemen--just type that in a search and you get way too many results) No i have no idea what this account is about, it is true at the time I did run out on some bills,(never do that--you may say was i on drugs--yes). But now im attempting to fix all those problems and start fresh. Im not sure how the job will view these debts. I do have a credit card (always in good standing for the past three years) witch is a plus--but those collections are pretty bad (only about 251 dollars total--but still worse that them NOT being there)
AS A SIDE NOTE: what makes me mad is that one of them I never got any messages about the collection from...(lazy) considering ive been at the same location for several years--and have been paying taxes.
So do i have to hire a lawyer for a piddly 94 dollar account to find the creditor (witch i cant afford to do) or is there other resources to find these people
