What is the name of your state? Wa

I have court documents that Mom & her boyfriend have both had accidents, their fault. Mom has been stopped at least twice without any insurance. Most recent incident oldest daughter driving without driver's license, DUI, and 2 different times minor in possession of alcohol.

There is a child that goes there for summer visitation, and Dad is worried about child's safety.

Would like to know for the sake of all the minor children in her care, is there is a way to find out if Mom has liability insurance on her vehicles?

I don't understand what insurance has to do with child's safety?

I would like to know why the thought of having this child be anywhere near this woman has crossed your mind?

Child is my nephew

This child hasn't had an easy life when he lived with his Mom & step-dad that have been physical, emotionally, verbally, & mentally abusive.

Mom is now NCP as of 6 yrs. ago. The child has been going to WA for summer visitation. The abuse goes on.

My brother is very worried about this child's safety, because of the court documents he has found in the last 6 wks, he has every reason to be.

My nephew's half sister has been ticketed twice in less than 5 wks. 2 times for Minor In possession of alcohol. DUI with readings at .111 & .113 and no drivers license. That's just the sister's driving history.

At this point there isn't anyway to know if my nephew is being made to get into a vehicle in which someone in the family is driving around drunk, & without insurance. They have history of not having any car insurance.

It's a given Mom & step-dad certainly won't pay any medical expenses if this child is injured as a result of their negligence.

It's against the law in WA not to have liability insurance, just as it is in most other states.

I personally won't let my own children get into someone's car unless I know the driver has insurance.

This a very complicated long story. Liability insurance is just a small part of the entire dangerous situation.
