What is the name of your state? WA

How can one go about finding the other parent when they left no forwarding address, won't contact us so I can see child. Last I heard she left the state but can't confirm that. She no longer resides at her last known address, phone disconnected. It has been over a year since I last saw the child. Any ideas??

Have you contacted family and friends? Do you have a court order for child support & visitation? If so, file contempt charges against her for denial of visitation. If you are paying support thru the court then they have to know her address to send her the checks.

If you know their Social Security #s :

1) If you have a Court Order , file for Contempt as LMSP stated,
Ask the Court ( clerk ) when you file You want to have the Judge sign a FPLS Form ( Federal Parental Locater Service ).
You may have to find a Form, fill it out, then request a Judge, child support agency, State Officials, States Attorneys DA.

2) I used Child Find Of America , at the time 10 Dollars per person. I don't know if they still exist 1-914-255-1848 fax 255-5706 7 Innis ave. PO box new paltz NY 12562-5706

3) Call missing and exploited children ask how to get a booklet on Family Abduction. It has a lot of Info. I used. ( It has a sample of the FPLS , but you should be able to pick one up at a business that sells legal documents.

Good Luck .

You can feel free to email me the info you have, I do searches for free. I have access to many sites most people pay for, also if you pay to get info you are getting ripped off. Most information you get on the net is information you can get for free if you dig deep enough.

You can click on the profile button at the bottom of my post and email me if you want. I will try to help you out. If I can't get anything, I know someone who can!

A couple more thoughts, I will not help locate unless you prove you have legal rights to the child as to protect myself.

Blonde, hey I have had people use Child Find and loved it...here is the direct link for missing children w/court orders for visitation. http://www.childfindofamerica.org/access.htm

We need your help CMSC

We have physical custody of my SD and mom has been MIA for over a year now. She has now decided that she wants contact with her daughter (we think it's a great thought...Lord knows this child needs her mother in her life) but is claiming to be living somewhere that we know she is not (we were in the area where she lives, and drove by the house and spotted her car with personalized plates in the driveway). We have her address as verified by the Postal Service FOIA from about 6 months ago (the address we drove by) and are hunting for a real phone number for her so we can turn it over to CSE, and have in case of an emergency...my husband is Active Duty military and legally I have no rights to SD should he be deployed. Could you help us out? We will give you any information you need.

That's quite a bit different than the original post don't you think?

LMAO on the thread jumping/humping/bumping...I admit, I hijacked the original post.
Coosi, yes, I do think it's great that my husband's ex has finally pulled her head out of her butt and wants contact with her child. This kid has been in therapy for a year because her mom dropped her like a bad habit. Mommy dearest has the ability to work yet chooses not to do so because she doesn't want to pay CS. The CS is not needed for my husband or myself or our other child. We want the CS so that we can get SD some extra help with some learning difficulties (i.e. Sylvan or something similar). Not to mention the fact that the CS is court ordered (Mommy Dearest hasn't done 1 measly thing that the court has ever ordered)and is her duty/responsibility to her child. While she had custody of SD, my husband paid his CS even though we were not allowed any contact by her (that's the big reason that we have custody now, along with others). Hope this clears some things up.
