Man, I feel old. Kinda eye-opening that someone old enough to be a parent never heard of Bella Lugosi.

Reminds me of being in a Wal-Mart around Christmas in the music department looking for a current top-selling CD (containing a collection of duets). Asked the clerk what catagory I'd find the Sinatra CDs.

She turned to me with a blank look and said: " What kinda music do he sing?" AAARGH!

Lagasse for Emeril. I know, I was not sure if someone was misspelling.

LMSP - because he made cooking cool and easy and for everyone. Forget about his "smellivision" and "I don't know where you get your flour, but, where I get mine, it don't come seasoned" and "I don't like one-sided tasting food" jokes, and you have found the person who really put cooking shows on the air. Yeah, Chen can cook with his "five-finger-chopsticks" and Rachael Ray can cook meals in 30 minutes and that one other lady has "impeccably clean hands", Emeril has lead the way and does it all in front of a live audience. He is the Oprah of cooking. And, BAM! it anyway, the guy can cook better than Chef Prudhomme can stand...
