Hello,

My mortgage was foreclosed in late May. The property sold for more than owed. This left a $8,000 surplus. I didn't receive a disbursement of funds letter until 6 weeks later.
So I went to file my claim for 50% of surplus and my ex-wife had already had a third party company file and she received the whole surplus. She refuses to give me my half.
Do I have any recourse here?

If the property was dispositioned in your divorce, then you will need to deal with it through those courts.

What do you mean by "third party company"?
