What is the name of your state? Mine is NJ but the issue would be in Florida.

I will ty to make this short.

A friend of ours married a girl (I'll be nice). She was pregnant as the time with his child. Turn out whe also has two other kids from two other guys..one of the kids she never sees and our friend haas been paying her child support since they got married two years ago.

OK - He joined the military (Army in Alaska) after being persuaded by her that it was in their family's best interest (his father just died. Now she is in Florida and he is in Alaska.

Now...one year later, she wants a divorce (claiming he is cheating on her). She lives in a house that his parents bought with two of her kids (one being his). His mother has gievn her two months to get out. (She's pure trailer trash)

He has consulted a miitary lawyer and the military lawyer told him that she can not get a divorce without his permission.

1) Is that true?
2) What chance does he have of gaining full custody being in the Military?

Thank you - I am so not familiar with how the military works in these situations.

full custody in the military

My husband is active duty Air Force, and we have primary custody of his daughter. I don't know how hard it will be for your friend to get full custody, but it took us a year to get custody. I do have several friends who are active duty Air Force and are single parents and they do just fine. That's my 2 cents worth.
