I was entering a sweepstakes and well you have a slim chance to win in one of those things anyway, but in the official rules of it, it stated that anyone 18 and older in the USA could win, only a man could win the grand prize. So would someone give me some suggestions. The sweepstakes is by a very large company. The attornery general office here suggested that I find an attorney, well that is easier done than said. HELP PLEASE

I'd have to see some documentation on your story.

I don't believe it to be a scam

The reason I say that is because I have contacted the sponsors of it and well they are Pfizer, Nascar, Mark Martin, Roush Racing. And they are aware of the sweepstakes. And Pfizer just states they will get back with me, Nascar didn't agree with the rules, and Roush Racing which is Mark Martins boss say to take it up with Pfizer.

As a NASCAR fan, I am very well aware of the contest. The winner will represent Pfizer and their Viagra product as a NASCAR event. What woman would want to play the role as a user of Viagra? If you want to go stand in front of a judge and admit to using Viagra, go for it.

For one, you don't have to be a user!! And for MOST and I repeat MOST men if it wasn't for women what would they need viagra for! And if someone is embarrassed for what they are doing or using then they shouldn't be using or doing it. I NEVER once said I used Viagra.....And for that last coment of yours, how would you like for a company to hold some kind of promotion and tell you that nope you can't be there because you are the wrong gender, or your to old!!!!!

Although women can use viagra, and some find benefit to it, this is off-label usage. If Pfizer is found to be actively promoting off-label usage of their prescription products they can be sued for billions of dollars.

If you don't like the sweepstakes rules, take it up with the FDA and the US Court system.

From the package insert: "VIAGRA is not indicated for use in newborns, children, or women." http://www.fda.gov/cder/consumerinfo/viagra/viagralabel2.pdf

In contests where the end goal is some kind of theme or sex-oriented job I thought it was ok to allow only male or females. Like say there was a contest where the winner wins free breast augmentation and a job as the spokeswoman for the product/procedure. Obviously the contest would be geared towards women only...

i think this is out of control. where is the legal question here? you gotta be kidding me if someone wants to sue over a contest for men only! oh, by the way i am a female. stop acting like your fellings are hurt, because they are not. :D
