I hired an attorney last year after being charged with two felony counts in Washington state superior court. Court day has come and gone and the attorney is completely paid off. There our no good feelings between us!!! What are my rights as far as getting my case file from him and what do I have to do?

pay a cop to go with you to atty's office and simply ask secretary for it w/receipt of your payment in full in hand.

further , on your next court date when the judge is calling your case. simply stand up, explain what happened, slowly walk toward the bench, then drop to your knees, pray, and kiss your ___ goodbye!!

you have two options.

you can make an appointment to go to his office and pick up a copy of the file.

you can write a letter to the attorney requesting a copy of the file and setting a date and time when you will come to get it.
