What is the name of your state? Mi. what if i don't believe in some of the things the union represents like planned parenthood for example, does something like this give me the right to quit my union?

He will still be required to pay union dues but only a percentage (an amount determined for union operation and representation) will actually go to the union. The employee then can designate where the rest of the money goes. The OP needs to contact his union business rep asap. Some unions will use strongarm tactics to prevent someone from becoming an agency employee, that is illegal.
