i[17] am pregnant and still live at home, the father[20] to the baby wants to take full responsability for me and the baby,he lives at home with his parents also ,there are things[school,financial reasons] that prevent us from living togeather at at this time.can i put his last name on the birth certificate when the baby is born even though we are not married.i have already named the baby after him.
we live in the great state of oklahoma.

My response:

If he signs the "Declaration of Paternity" at the hospital, then yes, you can. If he refuses, then you can only put your name on the B/C, and then take him to court for a paternity test, child support and visitation.
