My husband and I are legal guardians to his 13-year-old sister. We currently live in the state of North Carolina but had the petition done in Texas. My question is, can I somehow drop the legal guardian title and just have my husband be responsible for her? How and what do I need to do to no longer be responsible for her or her actions?
