I just reread this entire post...memories....Beagle, your prediction re. Jeb not leaving us in 2002 was unfortunately off the mark, though I have hope that the Bush bros. will act like Lincoln and actually allow a legal election later this year..but ain't betting the farm on it...
as for my case, long story short, in January '02 I had convinced the general master that I deserved victory in all aspects of my case save one, child support modification. Exceptions were filed and I lost my entire case and was hit with a 100G fees and costs award in an IDO. I appealed, again pro se, and won a 50-50....we're going back to court in June on the child support issues (not enough findings for the appellates so they reversed and remanded), ditto on the attorney's fees. As I've been paying until recently $1500. month in support and F&C, as I sit here I'm finalizing my Chapt. 7 filing which should take care of the F&C problem...
my kid is fine, still acting/modeling though not as heavily at the moment, relationship with her is OK, she's now 12....
