Based on the information you gave, it was clear you needed to make a claim and have the claims adjuster inspect the damage in a timely manner, thus in the absense said facts, I refered you to the insurance company. You pay them premiums, they are paid to hold your hand, not me.

So, in your expample, it is not like I said "15" which is too short a response for this forum anyway, it is more like I said, "Take your bike to the bike shop." (The inference, they are qualified, since you admitted you didn't know any thing about fixing bicycles, to determine the problem and the correct way to fix it. At that point you could chose how to go about that repair.) I am not a mind reader and sometimes you have to start at the begining and not skip over the required steps.

The field of law includes many professionals, including but not limited to attorneys, who are qualified to provide advice. There is no requirement on this forum to cite credentials or for a disclaimer. It would be unethical to falsly represent one's self to be an attorney when they are not, but lack of a disclaimer in no way shape or form is misreprenentation.

BTW there are attorneys who regularly post on this site, all of whom are fed up with Megan's insistance on posting false and misleading advice and failing to cite her references when challenged.

I have cited my credentials when needed, however I don't see the need to place them on my signiture line just because you feel insecure.

While it is true that I have been nicknamed "Doc" by a few, I have a doctorate and there is no misrepresentation in that title. It is usual and customary for persons with doctorate to be addressed verbally as, Doctor, but in written terms it depends on the circumstance. I have never misrepresented myself as a medical doctor/physician or an attorney, although, I by virtue of my education, training and experience am qualified to answer questions, frequently, citing as appropriate, something you fail to do even when challenged.

I find this practice annoying because the readers who are smart enough NOT to believe anything one person says about another, may go to the trouble of trying to verify Rmet’s fictional accusations. At this point they would have to read through hundreds of threads where I’ve posted, only to find that Rmet’s allegations are blatant lies.

As much fun as I could have responding to Rmet’s ridiculous allegations by making up some ridiculous allegations about her, it’s not fair to the innocent readers. I think I’ll just save THIS post for responding to Rmet’s future efforts to discredit people by lying about them. I think it makes my point.

....... Perhaps do maggots, I mean silk worms both attack silk trees? Worms eat Mullberry trees and make silk, whereas mimosa trees AKA Silk tree., I am so confused
