What is the name of your state? California My Grandfather died and left me as his heir. I have been to the bank, they said they will release his money to me in 40 days. I looked over the the Living Trust. The will is good, but there are places where he did not sign with the trust. Should I put this in probate and stay away from the money? My friend said it would be perjury if i touched the money. Is this true? or should I get a lawyer and let him handle this. Not sure what to do. Any ideas? What is the name of your state?

My response:

No, no, no! For God's sake, don't even think of getting an attorney! Continue to listen to your goofy friend who has no idea what he/she is talking about. Yea, that's the ticket!

You know nothing of the law, always a smart answer. Hopefully somebody will have a better answer to my question.

Can't you tell that IAAL was just being sarcastic with you and kidding around with you, although his answer was 100% correct??!! Your silly friend even used the wrong word, perjury, since that doesn't even apply in this case!!

You need a trust attorney to review the trust and the will to see if there is anything that needs to be paid special attention to. Don't do ANYTHING regarding probate until you have consulted legal help.
