GrandParents And Childwelfare Troubles!!!

Hi I am 25 yrs old and I'm having troubles with my parents on the fact they keep trying to say I can Move out but not with my daughter ...However I have legal Full Custody of her. But because of welfare in the past when i was 16 yrs old took my son they say welfare will take my daughter if I move out . And that they will use things in the past against me to be allowed to take my daughter . they also are saying that welfare has papers for them to sign so they have custody of my daughter whenever they want . is this legal and what can i do to make sure they cant and neither can welfare touch my child . is they any way i can get legal action for none of these things that they want to do can go through so I can safely move out and away from my parents .

Have you ever seen these so called "paper" for custody? What trouble have you had in the past? Do you have a cousrt order with you having full custody?
I do not know the laws in Canada but it would seem like they can not just take her with out a court order.

i have never seen the papers . when i was 16 i was raped and had my son i wanted to keep my child so i asked for help and childwelfare sent me to this place called mcman they said they would help me learn the stuff i didnt know on taking care of a child so i could be a good mom , while being "helped" they asked questions amoung who i hang out with where i go what i do and what my relationship with my family and friends are . they said because my son wasnt gaining much weight i was neglecting him which after they took him from me found out he had an iron difficency that was gentic and what i was doing was the only thing that anyone could do . they also said i was teaching him to fast and i didnt think i was and the doctors i went to stated i was doing good . they said the enviroment for him was unsafe cause it was an old house which being of old it has corners not round areas so they said we had to change counters , tables basically change the whole house to thier liking with lil money we had . because we didnt have it all done by the deadline they said it gives them in full a way to take him which they did so and now im back in the province after being away fromt there im told they legally can take my daughter and i dont see where thats legal or right when its not the same situation and i am older and have learnt how to be a good parent

This site is for US law only, not Canadian. I know nothing about Canadian family law except that its relatively similar to US law in many ways.

However, I suspect that your parents are bluffing. I know that Canadian law requires due process just like US law does. Therefore there is little to no chance that an agency could have papers ready for your parents to sign, whenever your parents decide they want custody.

The best way to make sure is to get yourself a consultation with a local attorney.

LdiJ is right. sounds like a control bluffing game to me and you should look to an attorney or your family court for some answers. Just moreless unlikely that an agency has papers ready for your parents to sign when they want your child. Good luck!

I don't know the terminology in Canada. However I would assume that it would be an attorney who specializes in family law....but the wording could be different in Canada. However an attorney who handles divorces would be a good place to start.

ok thanks. i dont need to see a divorce attorney cause my exhusband is not the father of my child and he is not involved with my child or this situation . however my mom today has stated he said he took more care of the daughter he took away ( he picked up my oldest daughter for a visitation and never came back ) . even though he was never home . ( found out he was cheating and doing illegal things )

No....you misunderstood...a divorce attorney is likely to be the same kind of attorney who would handle other family law matters....and it now sounds even more strongly as though you need one.
