So who's car was it that AHA's husband's DRUNK friend was driving???? Didn't she say that he was TOO DRUNK to drive and so ALLOWED his friend to drive? So who's car was it????

I'm betting it was her husband's car and he ALLOWED a DUI!!!! He's a criminal. She's the angry wife of an alcoholic who is seriously in need of therapy. I bet he beats her too. And she probably loves it. That would explain her inability to follow a conversation and post something meaningful. No gray matter left after all those beatings.

Og god, can you please f-ing leave me out of it. I am not the OP, so try the f*vk to find someone else to talk about.
I can't stand you stalking me, because I hate freaks.

Oh goodie ... people that finish a bottle of wine may have it-recorked and travel home with it.

No. Not someone who FINISHES a bottle of wine. But someone who partially finishes a bottle of wine.

In the past you could get arrested for having an open container. Even if it was re-corked. Have you ever tried to re-cork a bottle of wine? You never get the cork all the way back in. So it's open.

I'm glad you agree this is a good thing. I would rather that people drove home after partially consuming a bottle of wine than after completely consuming it, don't you?

"Arrested"? How odd. In my state it's a minor infraction subject to citation only.

But, to each state their own.

You really give me a good laugh. There is NO law that requires anyone to stop a drunk driver, except for the authorities.

Now what did I tell you about that whacky-tobacky and that LSD. You're still seeing things.

I would appreciate if you stopped obsessing about me, you are an alcoholic driver, me and my husband are not and I'm not going to apologise for that.
Since you have nothing to say other than involving me in every one of your replies, seem like you don't have any legal advice to produce either. Pot calling the kettle black.
Just leave me alone and get on with the OP's question ok!!?????

You go ahead and drive your drunk @ss around, you'll get yours coming one day, I promise.

Time out AHA, are you being so judgmental on others?

You go ahead and drive your drunk @ss around, you'll get yours coming one day, I promise.

Funny, how you accuse. Oh amazing how that works in your mind. Like I would ever drive drunk. NO honey, that was the guy that your husband got in the car with - after he drank with him. I would NEVER get in a car with anyone I was drinking with - furthermore I would PAY for our cab home. What have YOU done to promote DD programs??!!!! What have you done to set up something with you friends, you family...your husband...friends?

Glass houses, baby. That's what I think is most interesting with the regulars on this forum. They are not here to offer legal advice, only to shame. {AKA MADD representatives}

No, AHA, why don't you admit that your husband wasn't/isn't an "innocent victim" of a drunk driver...in front of your friends? No shame. Everyone makes mistakes. People make mistakes.

Nah, that's like waving the white flag with this crowd. It's like saying drinking is okay. Oh there's so much deep, deep emotion in this crowd you and your husband can only be victims in order to save face ..... or fit in. *shrug*

Yea, victims, that's a great place to be. Hey, do you think you'll ever be considered a survivor? I doubt it. MADD doesn't promote survivors.

What are those drugs? Simple....what are those drugs, honey? Not tricky. Not a guess work.

Nine keys on keyboard for the one common food group. BORING when you don't want to have research it. And the drugs....*yawn* when you have drug research. YOU have NO idea what the drugs are, yet you expect others to know.

Oh wait! You have the most brilliant doctors. What did your doctor tell you about OTC meds? Please share what your doctor told you.

What drugs will make a person DUI, PARIDISE? If you're half as concern about drunk drivers, you should know ALL the drugs.
What drugs PARIDISE?

Oh WAIT, you think DUI is about DRUNK drivers. Yes. Of course. the drugs your doctor gave you doens't count.

PARIDISE will say don't drink and drive! I agree. But will PARIDISE do beyond that message? Will she try to start a designed driver program? I don't thinks so because she would rather her life not be bothered other than the message.

She expects everyone, but her, to go out of their way to take a stand against drunk driving.

Happy Hangover dude. It is people like you that need a alert system notifying all authorities that you have awakened.

No, I would rather that they not become intoxicated and then drive. Period. We're not talking "drugs" or "food" or "cough syrup" here, so stop dodging. We're talking about consuming alcoholic beverages and then operating a motor vehicle. And there's no valid excuse for it, period.

If you really want to get into drugs, try looking at the label. Or perhaps you have trouble understanding DO NOT OPERATE HEAVY MACHINERY WHILE TAKING THIS DRUG in big capitalized letters. Unless you get your drugs from some kind of illegal or really-really-really-really un-mainstream pharmacy, the drug comes with recommendations and warnings.

And as far as food goes... well, I'd believe you'd have to eat a lot of poppy seed muffins before it would impair your driving.

WAS I EVEN REPLYING TO YOUR POST????????????????????????????????? NO!!!
I never claimed to be a survivor idiot!!

I do now realise that this part of the site is littered with drunks, so you all go ahead and get trucking, ok. BUR LEAVE ME OUT OF IT, I have asked for that enough times now, but you keep obsessing about me, thanks for thinking the world revolves around me, but I don't appreciate this much attention from alcoholics.
There must be better things you can do with your lives than focussing on me every day in every post.

I will never be a drunkard's friend here, so since am against drunk driving and others here are not, lets just leave it at that. I will never change my mind, so you're wasting your time.

Oh, but AHA you defend your DRUNKARD of a husband everyday for ALLOWING a DUI. Are you not a friend to your own husband?

Hmmmm, that's interesting. See, I've had bronchitis for the past two weeks and they gave me codeine for it. On the bottle, which I got from a very reputable pharmacy, it says USE CARE OPERATING MACHINES. That's it. It doesn't say, don't drive. It doesn't say 'do not operate heavy machinery while taking this drug' (in capital letters or not), it doesn't say 'you can get a dui if you drive while taking this'. It just says to use care.

Of course, I DON'T drive while taking it.

well, I'd believe you'd have to eat a lot of poppy seed muffins before it would impair your driving.

It's not a matter of whether or not the poppy seed muffins will impair your driving. They won't. But one poppy seed muffin WILL show up in your blood and it will look like you'd been smoking marijuana.

You just don't get that you CAN be arrested for DUI even if you are stone cold sober, do you?

Oh for f*ck sake, when did I ever say that he drinks every day?????
He went to a party for the first time in 3 months, if you call that being a drunk, then you don't know what you're talking about.
Don't be so f*ing stupid.

Wow, AHA you're being awfully defensive. Didn't you know that a person doesn't have to drink everyday to be an alcoholic. A person can drink once a year and STILL be an alcoholic. It depends on how it affects them. Look, he drank until he was out of his freakin' mind so much that he didn't have the sense not to get in a car with a drunk driver and he ALLOWED a DUI. It was HIS car that the guy drove, wasn't it?

But you really don't need to be defensive about your husband's disease. There's help for him. And for you too. Personally, I feel sorry for you and I hope the two of you get the help you need.
