i really don't know what this guy/lady here is complaining about i had a debt with tja & assocs. the people there were understanding and nice. i talked to a Mr Brewer and a Mr. Dupont. and they worked a sif of 60% for me. and even gave me the time to get the money. they have options that i didn't know i could do. i saved over 4k by settling my account with them. at first i thought Mr Brewer was rude and arrogant wanted to know all types of information about where i worked and things. i was releundant to give. telling them i wasn't allowed calls at work. i did give them the information. and they told me that they would not call me if i was willing to work out arrangement. and i did work out an arrangement granted it was not very pleasant to talk about my problems with them but they worked out an arrangment and saved me money. so i don't know why you are saying bad things about them harrassing you and other things. i've dealt with collections agencies and offices and by far Atty Heckers office was one of the most professional people there was so if your having problems then i don't know why. and i gave them a check that was post dated broke my settlement up in two parts for me also. and they didn't deposit them till the date we agreed on. so if your having a problem with them then maybe you need to speak to Mr Brewer or Mr Dupont there. i give them a big Kudos for helping me get this problem resolved.

I don't have any advice on this but I think I've suddenly learned a couple of things about how some collection agencies operate. A large (300 employees) collections agency just moved in to the building I work in several months ago.
Since then, there have been brawls in the parking lot, one of my co-workers was attacked by one of their employees, a car was set on fire and cars are constantly damaged (including mine). I've heard many of them talking about their parole officers (although I'm glad they have a legit job). Although I . have to say that it was exciting when the FBI busted into their offices recently. I'm glad to see anybody working hard for their money but some of these folks are dangerous. (It sounds like I eavesdrop but we share a common lunch area and it is impossible to not hear them.)

Some of them seem very nice and must have some kind of creditials since they have access to credit reports but I'm guessing that the scary ones are the ones who make the harrassment calls. I doubt these people know anything about the law and my guess is that they hope we don't either. I hope I haven't offended anyone and apologies if my assumptions are inaccurate.

I hope you don't become the Cleveland Browns' new GM. If you assess talent the same way you assess what's going on around you, the Browns won't win another game until the year 2432.

The previous commercial announcement was brought to you by an employee of 'TJA and Associates' and the 'Debt Collection Industry'. :D

Yep. Another legend in his own mind. Comes on the forum with all of four posts (at this time) and thinks that his opinion and guesses have some sort of value or importance. Simply, it doesn't. :D
As for value, even if there were any, it would be negated by his obvious lack of education shown by his numerous spelling and punctuation errors.
NUFF SAID!!

You didn't put the little punctuation doohickey before "NUFF."

Mr. Knight: You are an idiot - 'nuff said!

Does your boss know that you're surfing the net on his time?
As for debtors you should be glad that there are so many otherwise you would be out of a job.

BTW: Punctuation, capital letters - you might try using them, tends to show some intellect and general usage of the English language.

I'm sorry. Didn't know i offended you. Well if that is the case. I'm doing my job.
Oh I forgot this is get out of DEBT website. Not a pay your DEBT website. I'm sorry.
Wait. I offended someone. This is great. If you want to call my boss, then by all means do so. He thinks it is funny that there are so many people trying to get out of paying there bills.
Don't post what you don't want hear.
Besides I work everyday unlike some people trying to find ways out of there bills.
At least I can sleep at night knowing that i will always have a job, and can pay my bills.
Can you say the same??? Probably not.
Oh I'm sorry i probably offended you again.
DEAL WITH IT!!

Nope. Your thinking you did is simply giving yourself too much credit. I deal with idiots like you who think they know the law and debtor/creditor rights. In fact, I get paid big bucks for showing them how ignorant they are. If you think your little sophomoric comments get to me, you are stupider than we think you are.
Have a hap-hap-happy day!!
