What is the name of your state? indiana

this is for someone else

ex is in ky. she's in indiana. court date was 3/25 she never got served papers. last time he got visitation he verbally told her 4/25(she has a witness). he calls 3/26 wanting to know where she was at. he got temp. custody due to her not showing up for court. whats her options

She needs to call the court clerks office in the county the hearing was to be held. If she was not served, and they only attempted once, he probably didn't get temp. custody, the judge could have postponed it.

Him verbally telling her, wrong or right date, doesn't matter, she had the right to be served.

he had her current address up here and phone # and there wasnt nothing in the newspapers(we live in the same town). i told her call her lawyer beings he only found out about it after the fact also and tell him (lawyer )that she wasnt served any papers and get it thrown out.

Certificate of Mailing

IN Oregon the Judges will not even look at things unless there is either a certificate of mailing or certificate of service attached to it.. saying the other party was served either via mail or service(via server or sheriff)
just fyi ( but that is Oregon)
