What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

My wife had premature baby in Sep 07. We had health insurance. We gave all information to the Hospital. We also notified our insurance agent regarding the new born. It appears that he never properly registered the new baby but after several reminder baby's name etc. was properly registered witht he insurance comapny. Insurance company has not paid app 778,000 in hospital and doctors bills. They notify us each month that they are still making the determination. It seems to be effecting our credit. Any advse ? How to go abour finding a lawyer since it has been going on for almost a year now ?

First question; is this individual insurance or group insurance through your employer?

Not at all outside the realm of possibility, depending how early it was. This wasn't a normal birth after all.
