What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Indiana, I have had recent health issues that seem to have caused some issues at my place of employment that I feel I should be concerned about. I was under doctors orders and told I was not to work, but my place of employment told me if I wanted to continue to recieve my pay check I would have to do some kinda of work-which they in turn brought a computer to my home and networked it to the work place. I am a salaried employee and have been there for 1 year. Since this they have cut my pay checks down to what even if I was receiving disability pay is under amounted. Any advice for me on what to do?

Need a few questions answered first.

You say you have been there "about" a year. For the purposes of what I am thinking of, it is vitally important to know if it is a little more than a year, or a little less than a year. In other words, have you passed your first anniversary of employment yet?

I also need to know how many employees your employer has, total, and at your location.

I need to know at least a little bit more about your health condition, and I need to know if it is work related.

I need to know how much, if any, time from work you have missed with regards to this condition.

Depending on your answers, I may need still more info, but that's enough to start with.

Yes I have past my 1 year anniversary. There there are several companies under this company, so I don't know the total throughout, but at my location there approxiatmently 75-80 employees. My condidtion is not work related except through stress I had a heart attack which I had open heart surgery to fix. I missed 10 weeks of work and am back still under doctors orders to only work 2 hours a day which I am exceeding.
