What is the name of your state? California
At the time I filed my Chapter 7 bankruptcy papers, I didn't have a checking account. I have one now. What do I do about this? Should I notify the court? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

No big deal, really, not for $25. First, its a post-petition asset and of little consequence in the amount. Your bankruptcy is a snap-shot of your financial situation on the DAY YOU FILED. This post-petition account doesn't HAVE to be included, but if it REALLY bothers you, if the Trustee asks you if anything has changed since you filed, tell him/her about the account, but make sure you mention that it was opened AFTER your filing date. I'd bet the Trustee won't even blink.

Schedules can always be amended, but in your case I don't think its necessary.
