they called me at home today and I requested no further contact at work. I asked the rep for his address, and he began stalling and then got upset, then he told me that he got my settlement down to $4500, then when I told him I would not make any determination until I see all the paperwork that he has in writing he began screaming and I told him I'm not putting up with that and hung up. The ******* didn't even give me his address... Anyone have anymore ideas?

I tried a couple of different searches and was unable to find anything either. I know in NJ that they have to be licensed but the NJ State website doesn't provide a listing of who is licensed and who isn't.

I actually called the credit card company, told them how rude the ca agency was and got the info from them. I have just prepared a letter. I will post a separate post with letter in it so that perhaps I can get some opinions. Thanks again to everyone who has posted and helped me out. It has made a huge difference.

Now, assuming they verify the debt and send me proper documentation, what do I do then? should I offer to settle with them? make monthly payments or what???? Thanks again :)
