And you're not getting the point. She is NOT "our" daughter in a legal sense. The way you've been going on and on with that phrase is likely to have a judge so quick you won't know what hit you. You keep slipping into it and it's not something that will go over well. If you want to have that happen - keep right on with it. If thinking I'm a horse's butt gets it through to your pea brain that you should keep that phrase OUT of court, then a thank you is in order.
