I filed Chapter 7 & was discharged. I have sent off for copies of my credit reports & there were many items not listed in my bankruptcy. I sent a letter to them & stated such. The Credit Reports did start out stating info about my bankruptcy before listing all the other incorrect info. I received a letter back today asking me to send in copies of my bankruptcy & dates discharged as well as who all were included in on the Chapter 7.

I've heard that I shouldn't send them a copy & it is their job to research the information themselves. What di you advise & is there a :form letter?"

Go to www.creditboards.com. The experts over there will not only tell you all you need to know, they'll probably give you a letter, too! You will get a heck of an education ... good stuff...
