What is the name of your state? Tennessee

Hi, my name is Greg. I was placed on one year probation/diversion for shoplifting (theft under $500,MIS.). In august I was given an VOP for missing curfew calls because the probation officer put my number in the computer wrong, yet it was still my fault. I served my warrant, went to court and the judge gave me another chance. She's a really nice judge that just don't get any "bulljunk". Well last month I was pulled over and found out my license had got suspended (I didn't know they was suspend, there wasn't even one single notification sent to me stating they was). The officer gave me an citation so I went got my license/insurance and went to court. I have to go again to court with my lawyer on the 16th. There's a warrant out right now for a VOP in relation to my driving on suspended license charge. What on earth should I do? Can I get this warrant lifted and just go to court? I'm absolutely terrified of jail and don't want go back there ever again in life for nothing nor do I have/know anyone to post my bail again. Also I've hired an lawyer for both cases and I would like to know what is the most likely outcome of this?

A little about myself (if it matters): I'm 19 and getting ready for college in january. I help direct band at a local high-school and I also take care of my 80yr old grandma and work full-time. :)

The best thing you could do for yourself is go to the court early next Monday and volunterially add yourself to the calender. The judge will give the option of speaking with a lawyer and continue the matter.

If you truely were unaware of the suspension, there is good chance that if you go the judge first and express you desire to clear your legal matters, I would think the judge would work with you. It is always better to face these issues head on!

Good Luck! :o
