Oh, and as far as the potential lawsuit is concerned, no i'm not worried that i will be mentioned in the suit. I'm certain that i'm not as i've recieved no information hinting to such process. My question was whether or not my husband should respond to her attorney's request for his statement and whether or not she had grounds for a legitimate case against our friend. Should he respond to them????

You husband has no reason to speak with her lawyer. I would suggest that he deal only with the insurance companies at this point.
 
Based on what you told us, if she is suing your husband for injury compensation, next time tell your husband to leave her injured in the car.

Oh, I don't think it ever advisable to pull someone from a car unless it is going to catch on fire. My sis was in a rollover accident that did require her to be pulled out by a witness as her car did catch on fire. But otherwise, you should not move a person after a car accident.

I hope that your husbands actions don't bite you in the arse.
