Why save money for the hospital bills then if you dont have any? last time I checked this site was for legal advice, not advice on how to "morally" be a butthole!Mr.Knight said:don't worry about me. i don't have to threaten anyone to pay the bill. i tell them the truth and that is enough to either:
1. make them hang up or
2. make them pay the bill.
no threats.
i'm not saying that there is not people out there that break the law. i know that i've worked with them. me personally i don't do it.
So before you decide to group every debt collector in to the same group. you might want to listen first then decide.
maybe that is too hard. to listen to the mistakes you made in life.
i've learned, that you reap what you sow.
want to bash me go ahead i'm more of a man to take it and keep coming back then to run away and hide. unlike some people that can't take it.
a WINNER always stands back up, even if he is knocked down, and doesn't give up.
how many people can say the same thing that they are doing the right thing?
besides. i don't need medical insurance and i've got a nice savings built up. how many of you can say the same thing?
i've been working with the same place of over 3 years now. you add it up. 300$ a month for 36 months minus 1000$ this year. Plus i'm a US Vet. so i get free medical from the goverment.
It seems to me that you just want everyone to know you have money....well honey why dont you use that money to buy a personality, or perhaps a lifeMr.Knight said:Well lets put it this way. I went to war for this country against my believes that we should have stayed out of it.
I have benifits. i choose not to take them. that is the reason. besides. you all are tring to find ways not to pay the bill. i pay my bills. inculding my medical bills. when there is a need. can you say the same??
Before you cast shadows on someone look in the mirror.
So the goverment has to foot the bill for my medical the last time i went to a veteran hospital was in 1996.
Last time i saw a private doctor was this year. and i PAID for it. CASH. not credit not a loan CASH.
You are all just mad, that you don't have the CASH to by things you want when you want them.
BASH AWAY. I'm up for it.

Perhaps if you could write in coherent sentences with the correct spelling and grammar I would take your ranting seriously. However, due to the fact that you either a) can't type worth crap, or b) are just uneducated and stuck in a frustrating, dead-end job, I have no choice but to laugh at your claims and so-called information.
It is ridiculous for you to lump all people who have defaulted on loans into one category as "deadbeats" who are just trying to get out of paying what they owe. I won't deny that there are people like that, but not all of us seeking help on this board are that way. I am more than willing to pay off my debt, if given fair terms. To suggest that I should beg and borrow the money from friends or family is absurd if I am willing to make payments. If treated with respect and a willingness to work with me, I would be much more receptive to speaking with the CA and figuring out a way to satisfy my debt as quickly as possible. However, with someone as judgemental as yourself working on the other end of the phone, I am much less willing to be cooperative, even with having the financial means in which to satisfy my debt.
You sound quite bitter and unhappy. Maybe you should look for a new line of work. Something with less stress. How about a greeter at Walmart?![]()

you want enlightenment? seek God. read the bible. there is great lessons to be learned in there. About 'do unto others as you would have done unto you.'
then there is, 'Owe no man.'
Then my favor. the Ten commandments. a good one depending on religion. #7 or 8 Thou shall not steal.
Read it some time. you might be able to understand, and gain a little enlightenment.
As for money. well it is just a thing. i've lived without money. Been where most of the debtors have been.
I know that it is hard, but i never once try not to get out of paying my bills, or resolving my debts. I've been on the other side of collection calls. I know, whether you want to bash me for my choice in life?
By all means enjoy. have fun. Get your frustrations out on me. Then when the next collect call comes. Instead of hanging up or screening the call. Resolve it. There is always a solution to every problem. You just have to be willing to look for it and listen.
Winners never quit, and Quitters never win.
I never agreed or disagreed with your opinion, I believe we should all be responsible for our debts, but assuming everyone is trying to get out of them is exactly that, assuming. As far as you knowing enough to get out of it, do you want a medal? or a chest to pin it on? I noticed your tone changed greatly, I have a feeling I put Mr. Knight in his preverbial placeMr.Knight said:I will answer in full for all my sins.
But you are right. This is a help site for people that are not educated in the law and want to know there Rights, as a consumer.
Also on the other hand Creditors have rights too.
I'm only defending my Stand on that.
As for what is on my back porch. Yes i'm a debtor too i owe My mortgage company, and my Credit cards, but the point i'm making is i make my payments and do not try to get out of paying my bills.
I know enough from working in an atty's office to know i could get out of all my bills, and not pay a dime to them. Inculding my House, but i'm not like that. I was not raised to look for the easy way out.
That is all i'm saying.
