I only have liability insurance for my vehicle, so I won't be getting anything from my insurance company.

Would it be possible to get some compensation from the other driver's insurance, if the other driver were to be found at fault?

Unless you had witnesses that backed up your story of the green light, and stuck around for the police report, you are out of luck.
