When we purchased our condo three years ago, we had to make significant changes to the location of the existing hot tub to bring it within city codes, as well as HOA requirements. We've now received notice that all owners must secure additional insurance for hot tubs (naming the HOA as insured) and sign a Release and Indemnification Agreement. I know these changes can be applied to new hot tub owners, but does a grandfather clause prevent the HOA from inforcing these new requirements onto previous owners?

**A: the grandfather clause would not apply in this situation.
