What is the name of your state? Indiana

My son in law and his ex wife are trying to follow the Indiana guidelines set up for visitation with his daughters. They live about three hours apart, but he does try to get the children every other weekend, unless they have an activity that prevents them from coming.

His ex wife recently informed him that , because she practices the religion Wicca, she is entitled to keep the children on Wiccan holidays. However, she still wants to take advantage of getting them on every other Christian holiday. Is she entitled to both types of holidays? There are quite a few Wiccan holidays, and this severely cuts into my son in law's visitation time. Is this situation covered in the law? Can he request all Chrisatian holidays if she does not observe them?

Thank you.

Is visitation per CO? She will need to modify the CO, if so. And he can certainly object to her wanting to reserve BOTH WICCAN and Christian holidays. One can't have it both ways. Also, one parent does NOT get EVERY holiday of their religion.

unless her Wiccan holidays were outline in thier divorce decree, she cannot take weekends or holidays that are 'his" as outlined in the decree.

unless he agrees to switch his court ordered times with her, he can take her to court for contempt, if she denies him visitation for these reasons.

if she wants wiccan holidays, she needs to take him back to court.
