How do I levy a tax return?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA I have several unpaid judgments and have the ssn's of the people. Is there a way I can levy thier tax returns?

To expand a little on Tigi's absolutely correct response...

OP, only certain entities can intercept tax refunds and only for certain purposes (tax debts, child support obligations, etc.,). Regular creditors cannot do so.

You can, however, levy the bank accounts and other assets of the debtors if you have the right information.

I have done some oex's but sometimes it's hard to serve the process . I also do a supena duces tecum at the same time.If i can locate the debtor.Thats why I was thinking of the tax return , One of my tenants told me his return was taken for a judgment but I found out it was for child support . A judge told me years ago "If you get enough judgments you can wallpaper your bathroom" .Trick is collectiong them.Thanks for your intrest in this.
