She is in the compliance office. I just got back from talking to her and she is going to review my paperwork and call me. I assume it's not illegal in Ohio, since she is doing it. :)

All she is probably doing is making sure the paper work meets the court's requirements. That is not the same thing as checking to see if they are LEGALLY correct or if everything was properly worded to protect OP. No clerk or staff member can dispense legal advice. I would never recommend that OP rely on this person or rely on herself, quite frankly. It always comes back to bite you.

Yes, that is what she is doing. Just making sure it meets the requirements of the Courts. And, let me tell you, if I EVER thought for one second that doing this on my own would bite me in the ass, I WOULD hire an attorney, at any cost!!! You can count on that. :)
Thanks for all the replies!!! :D

I don't know. Ohiogal would know! She's an attorney in OH. I was just making a comment; should've kept my unrelated-state thoughts to myself. :)
She can't help with any of the paperwork other to make sure everything is there. Unless of course she is an attorney and if she isn't she is breaking the law.
