I doubt that there is any limit, however I don't see any judge entertaining it any less that 6 months apart from each other.

How often can a NCP file for custody? And CS reduction?

20% of your take home is what the CP's gets to help raise the child. You can get a small break if you have other children, but not much.
As for custody, ashley, you are the mother, why don't you have custody right now. Reason I ask is because if you are seeking full custody it is extremely difficult, if you are seeking joint, it is an entirely different issue.

It doesn't matter what he wants. He's not going to get it. Joint legal custody is always favored and the child support is a statuatory amount. Not up for haggling like a flea market.

The law is on your side. Go in front of the judge and let him make a fool of himself. The judge will see right through him that his motivation is money, and to deprive you of it. He's obviously a control freak, and a selfish one at that!

So the both of you have joint custody, what are the grounds on which he is filing for full custody? Have you commited a fellony lately? Have you befriended a sexual offender? Did you take up the hobbie of doing drugs? See, it has to be that serious before he can stand a chance to get full custody. Oh, and not showing up to court has also been known to bring great surprises.
As for the reduction, if he has other kids it may go down a percentage or two but not much. If not however, there will not be a reduction in the great State of Texas. :D

Don't know what the rules are about how often can file for custody, but others are right. Joint is always favored.

As for modification, it can only be filed every 3 years OR if there has been a substantial change in his income (deviate by 20% or more).
