My 3 youngest (K, 1st grade, & 5th grade) go to the same school. For after-school care, they charge $2.00/hr./child.

My oldest (8th grade) doesn't have after-school care, but can go to the library until 4:00 p.m. It works out great. I get off work at 3:30, go straight to get the oldest, then get the 3 little ones by 4:30. They get out of school at 3:00, so they are only in after-school care for an hour and a half per day, which comes out to $9.00 per day for all 3, which is $45 per week.

Some days, my mom or my hubby's mom goes and picks them up at 3:00. That way, they get to spend time together and it saves us a little money.
