Filing
Yes, they do allow filing by fax. We are in Dallas, and she is in Houston 5 hours away so thank god for that. My question is do you think filing additional papers is the wise thing to do, or is there away to add additional dates to the original papers filed on Sept. 5, 2007, or do we just mention it in court but my husband is afraid they will not hold her accountable by jsut mentioning it. We have had problems since day one and have missed several visitations a year but never wanted to go back to court but this year has been very interesting, just doesn't seem like a safe mental environment but there really isn't much you can do about that but a case study and from the outside looking in she is normally but trust me she isn't. I have step children from my first marriage no children of my own from that marriage, and I still get visitation several times a year and get along great with that mother so I am at a lost as to what to do. I feel that I have always reminded my husbands to put the child first, and my husband now is not bitter from anything from there marriage or divorce, in fact he will sit on the phone for hours listening to her but it is the same conversation over and over and he after speaking to the counselor who suggest that if they phone calls were not benefiting the child no longer take them and be firm and make boundaries with the EX, and that is what he has done and she is mad and very hurtful to his daughter.
