Hello my name is mark and my situation is that my ex wife was collecting welfare and i was paying her child support at the same time i do have all my cancelled checks. I went to file with the dept of trans. asst.a form stating that i had been paying her on a weekly basis. The investigator for the dept. assured me that this would be kept private and that my name would not be brought into this and that they would go after her for the money if in fact she was double dipping . At that time i let him know that her brother is a state senator in mass. thats where all parties involved are from and he assured me that if he was to get involved he would go after him for obbstruction. Well three weeks go by and my children inform me that they dont want to see me becuase im trying to put mom in jail. I then recieved a call from the investigator who said he had spoken with my ex wife and he felt that we needed some type of counseling. its been an uphill battle to get to see my children for the past 19 months and i want to file a lawsuit against the dept of trans. asst. for disclosing that i was the person who in fact turned her in and to file a sepperate suit against the investigator can this be done and how do i go about it. thank you for your time mark from boston

What are your $$ damages and/or what remedy are you seeking ? Don't waste your time,....the State has Sovereign Immunity.

But if you insist hire a lwayer or go to the local Court House and ask the Clerk of the Court for the Forms and instructions for a Small Claims Action.

Thanks tax guy for getting back to me on this what i want is for the welfare dept to give me an appology for ruining my relationship with my three boys for the last 19 months. And for my ex wife to have to explain to the kids it wasnt dads fualt she was the dobble dipper and what she did was wrong and that I was only trying to get the money that i had paid to her taken of a dor bill. And lastly i would like the investgator who flat out told her i was the one who started this to be repremanded for his actions and what have i lost money wise about 6500.00 and then legal fees of about 3450.00 and how do you put a dollar value on the emmotional heartache ive gone through for the last year and a half? I just want my kids back is the end result.
